Based out of Holly, MI, Jake Long & Stephen Michael accidently formed COAST in the Summer of 2025 while sharing a gig together. Steve reached out to Jake for a party in Boyne City, MI, where the hosts wanted “band energy but chill”. So, set up on a patio next to a bonfire overlooking Lake Charlevoix, we played from sunset into the night for a hundred of the friendliest people who showed us love like we were old pals - the best gig we’d ever played. On the long drive home the next day, we agreed, “if every gig was a bonfire on a beach - life would pretty much be perfect.”
Then . . . a long pause . . . “Why can’t we do that?”

Prior to forming COAST - Steve (Vocals • Guitar) has tallied +1,000 bookings as a solo act and has been a full-time musician since 2018. Jake (Drum Kit • Cajon) has tallied +200 shows in the Metro Detroit area in various bands.
